Claire's Special Day [Family] Ramona, CA

Claire and her two little ones, Jack and Chloe, are temporarily incomplete at the moment because they're missing Daddy who is stationed in Afghanistan... So Claire contacted me to create an extra special gift for His eyes only and also to take some family pics quickly afterwards. These are the ones I'm allowed to show!

Olivia [Class of 2012] Charter High School

I was so flattered when Olivia contacted me and told me that out of a ton of different photographers she researched, she wanted ME to take her senior portraits. I was even more excited that she understood my style and wanted to work together to achieve the look I so earnestly strive for. We decided to do an urban inspired shoot downtown and then a more bohemian feel on the beach and Olivia did an amazing job styling each outfit. So with suitcase in tow, we set out on our way to capture the essence of who she is...

Preview: Francis & Roxy [engaged!] Paradise Point Resort

Here is the preview from my e-sesh with Francis and Roxy yesterday... this was definitely my favorite from the day because it reminds me of the new tv show Pan Am that I'm currently obsessed with :)

Mark & Dayna [married!] Pala Mesa Resort Wedding

Clouds, I LOVE clouds.... especially when they save the day.

Mark and Dayna's wedding was held at high noon during the month of September in Fallbrook, CA. Now, if anyone knows San Diego, it's normally hot and sunny with those circumstances, but no, the clouds saved the day.

It was a gorgeous ceremony and what made it even more wonderful was that I was surrounded by friends. Some were friends I had a known almost my entire life while others were clients who have become friends in just a few short weeks. But all in all, I was surrounded by friends. I loved it.

Dayna and I met in high school when we played softball for San Pasqual. Go Eagles! We stayed in contact since then through mutual friends and I have seen her love for Mark grow over the years. I remember the first time I met them as a new couple... it was at a Christmas Party and all I knew was that Dayna looked happy. It was a happiness I hadn't seen in her eyes before.

Now, I normally only do boudoir sessions for people who are engaged or already married, but Dayna kept asking me and she ensured me that they were meant to be and were going to get married even though he hadn't asked her yet. We ended up doing the session and I'm so relieved that she was right!

Here are some of my favorites from their Pala Mesa Resort wedding...

While I was with the ladies in the bridal suite, my assistant, Salome Dominguez, was in the men's suite with the groom and his groomsmen! She got some great shots throughout the day and was of immense help to me! Thank you Salome!

Dayna's niece, Addison, was the flower girl and she did a great job! You never know where they'll go or what they'll do at this age, but she kept on task and got 'er done!

I love catching the subtle glances a father will give her daughter on her wedding day...

At the after party, I overheard, Mark telling a friend that the moment he saw her walking up those stairs is when he lost it and started tearing up... of course, he tried to brush it off and be alpha male, but how could he keep his cool with this stunning bride!?

Salome got this shot of the boys...

while I shot the girls....

This fun group really wanted a jumping shot and they did it well!

You guys are gorg!

I brought my intern, Kayla, along and she got this great detail shot of the cake! Thanks Kayla!

Brace yourselves, this crowd was definitely the craziest dancing crowd I've ever photographed... and this is only the beginning, you should see the ones I couldn't post!

Mark and Dayna, thank you so much for having me be a part of your big day! I had the best time witnessing your love and being around great friends :) I pray your marriage is blessed and that you continue to make each other happy for years and years to come!
